    I just started playing RS3. Here are my thoughts.

    Here is some background information. I have been playing OSRS heavily for the past couple months. Combat 109, 99 FM, Total level about 1600 and about to do Dragon Slayer II.

    I wanted to try RS3 because I had heard that so many people liked the PvM content, and my favorite parts of OSRS have been bossing.

    Right now, as a new player, I don't understand what people don't like about RS3.

    It looks awesome. It has been so cool to look at all of the updated areas.

    It is very accessible to new players. I cannot describe how much I love lodestones. It makes travelling around the world so much easier, whilst not being TOO overpowered and providing endgame style teleports.

    The quests are very fun. I used guides on all of my OSRS quests to get them done quick and painless. Let me just say, I HATE Osrs questing. But all of the RS3 quests have been fun so far without using guides and have been really easy to finish.

    The combat is interesting. I do not have a definite opinion yet. Right now I use revolution so I don't think it is fair that I offer an opinion on it.

    The economy is VERY similar to OSRS. This was a complaint I heard many times. "RS3 Economy is shit." But I think it seems fine. Low level skilling makes money. I made over 1M in my quest to get 60 mining. This has allowed me to buy all the gear and food I need to do quests and low level activities! In OSRS low level skilling is essentially worthless. everything costs like 10-50gp per item. Ha ha. It makes low level skills seem worthless.

    Overall I have really enjoyed it so far, and if anyone has any good ideas on efficient training or fun bosses to work to. Let me know! I am excited to join this community as well as continue my OSRS ventures.

    For the love of god.... fix quick prayer drop-down menu

    It's been almost a month since this bug was created due to the fix of how keybinds are entered into the system.

    I'm going absolute mad having to always re-populate the my prayer drop-down by reopening the quick prayer interface.

    Does anyone at Jagex play the game anymore????

    Can updating graphics please be made a priority again? The F2P areas feel like false advertising for membership, with most member-only areas looking like trash by comparison.

    PoH Skill Hall: change displayed armor to new armor or Dungeoneering armor

    We currently have the mith/addy/rune armor that you see in your poh. But that was based on the ols smithing table.

    The options presented won't change the material required to build, only graphics.

    Option 1: replica Necronium, Bane, and Masterwork or Elder Rune

    Player will display a set of the armors, requiring, 70-90 or 99 smithing.

    Uses existing models of the highest end of the respective metal.

    Option 2: replica Dungeoneering armor

    This can be straight up smithing or Dungeoneering + smithing.

    Player will show off Gorgonite, Promethium, and Primal melee as replica. Primal could require 99 smithing or 99 in Smithing and Dungeoneering.

    Legendary Pet Token for Boss/Skilling Pets

    A token that can be used on a Boss or Skilling pet to give it the abilities of a Legendary Pet. The token can be obtained in game or, more likely, purchased from Solomon's Store for Loyalty Points or Runecoins.

    The current Legendary Pet models are really cool, however, my friends and I (and many other players) like to play with our boss or skilling pet(s) on display via overrides. I know many players would be very excited to give their Boss/Skilling pet the same functionality as a legendary pet, particularly the scavenging and Bob abilities.

    The token could be earned in game via Marks of War, as an additional drop using the same rng mechanism used for the boss/skilling Pets now, or a different method.

    Alternatively, it could also be sold on Solomon's General Store for Loyalty Points...or runecoins...

    Hey,

    I saw a Torag's helm in the Farm hard request. So I rerolled a trait of my Frem Yak and handed in the items. And guess what. I got barrows totems instead of Torag's helm. After looking back to the panel the Torag's helm changed to "Barrows Item".

    I consider this a bit unfair... and way to fix this?

    The RuneScape Keynote from Runefest 2019 (The last long term plan we have revealed) laid out a timeline for updates.

    January for Archaeology.

    Summer for Elder God Wars Dungeon

    And unspecified but in between the two Desperate Measures Quest, New Pets & Competitions, Managing Miscellanea Remastered, and the City of Sennisten Quest. Followed by an Azzanadra Quest and an Orthen Digsite at the end of the year.

    Alongside the timeline, we were told that two teams were being created and protected to provide updates. A quest team and a rework/remaster team. Since Runefest we've seen almost nothing. We got the 120 farming/herblore update but since then nothing. Archeology has been delayed with no ETA and we've heard nothing about the remaster and quest teams even existing.

    We've also received no update on if this even still is the timeline. In addition to no Month or year ahead. So, a few questions,

    Is this still the timeline? If not, what updates have been scrapped?

    Is the Elder God Wars Dungeon still planned for summer?

    Do the quest and rework teams exist? Were they ever created or just announced and scrapped?'

    Of course, as always the simplest explanation is usually the right one. They over-promised to sell premier club membership and under-delivered.
