| Posted: 07 Aug 2020 11:13 AM PDT Even if it doesn't crash, the tick rate is so slow during DXP that a 60 second inventory takes 50% longer to complete, not to mention the lag associated with trying to bank on w84. Even on non-DXP times the tick rate is still slow that its not really worth using You're better off on any other world, there are portables everywhere [link] [comments] | ||

For anyone interested, the runner would've gotten an estimated 8-9m xp if it were done right after resetting, making it around 800-900k xp/h. Average floor time is under 10 minutes. Very few people have the discipline or the skill to match or improve this time, so I think this time will stand for a very long while. [link] [comments] | ||

| Pro-tip DXP invention training Posted: 07 Aug 2020 05:54 AM PDT I discovered today that invention potions are a thing and they allow you to unlock discoveries ahead of your current level (up to +17 levels if you have 95 herblore). +50% DXP = huge exp gains :) Not sure if this is common knowledge but thought to let you all know! I'm 16 years old but I don't think it would be really hard to get 10 euro per month but still i need if it will be worth it. The lag is so bad that it offsets the 10% xp gains from pulse cores. I was thinking it might be nice to have an unofficial world to do the dungeoneering hole where there is no lag. I will be at world 14 for the weekend if anyone else wants to join. I'll use my pulse cores while I still have them to give everyone the 10% xp bonus. [link] [comments] | ||

I get a new message that pops up saying I am in a beta queue. When my position in the queue gets down to 1 and it's my turn to log in... BAM the client resets and logs me out. Keep in mind that your DXP ticks down based on server clock (so regardless of tick rate) while you gain XP based on tick rate. What does this mean? You're getting less XP/h than you'd get without on low pop world without portables/pulse cores. Quick math: Let's say you're training Herblore just with DXP boost, Pulse Cores and Portables. This means 220% base XP, right? Well, due to lag on W84, you will be getting only 187% XP/h you'd get without portables/porters on low pop world. Please keep in mind that I'm talking about XP/h, not XP per resources spent, however you should account for opportunity cost. [link] [comments] | ||
