It should become a Jagex precedent that one month after an update goes live, all new tradeable items have their GE prices updated to reflect their actual price

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 08:29 AM PDT

Every single update this happens, there is always an item that doesn't accurately reflect its trading price and with the current GE system and then either its abused to scam players.

It doesn't help that Jagex as a whole is pretty bad with setting prices, like why was the preasulic essence (mage) set at 20m, were they really expecting a virtus robe top to spike all the way up to 100m? And if they genuinely thought that it brings out more questions.

The Mage essence is about 6m and the ranged essence is about 5m, with the current GE prices it would take 24 days of updates to get to 6m. As there is a volume requirement for the GE price to update, so while the GE has updated 5 times since the update came out, only once has the price decreased. We are looking at months and months of time before the price gets accurately shown.

It should become a standard practice that ALL UPDATES have their items GE Price updated 1 month (say 4 weeks cause RuneScape updates on mondays) after the item has been released instead of Timbo randomly tweeting out once a year that he's gonna fix the prices on some items.

This lets the market naturally settle on a good price and then has Jagex swoop in to make the GE changes so its better represented

Trying to surprise Runescape fan husband

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 12:55 PM PDT

My husband is a huge runescape fan (and when i say this I mean his computer screen sees him more than I do). I'm trying to make a vinyl decal on a beer mug as a surprise for him that is Runescape related, for him to use while he's streaming as a surprise....

I know NOTHING about Runescape. My husband had talked my ear off about it, but all I'd hear was Charlie Brown's teacher lol. So what I'm looking for is any of you die hards- or anyone who follows my husband on twitch (TomThomp), drop your best Runescape puns in the comments that would be dope to put on a beer mug. THANKS!!!

Make it so that the loot interface prioritizes stackable objects already in your inventory.

Regardless of whether or not you're using custom loot options.

Large Crate of Classic components needs their ge prices updated to Prevent Returning Players from getting SCAMMED

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 11:22 PM PDT

Alright so I've been chilling in w2 ge talking to all the returning players all hyped for the new skill Archeology for well over a month now and I've seen so many players getting scammed with this 263m current GE valued crate when in reality it's less than 30m. The scammer will try to trade this crate for pretty much all of the returning player's gear (usually 100-200m) in return for this crate making the returning player is getting a generous deal. Honestly was expecting some items such as the Large crate of Classic components getting their ge priced updated with the Grand Exchange Themed Ninja Strike but seems like it didn't came in with the ge themed update and hopefully will soon as many players by the day are returning and shortly quitting when they realized they lost their whole bank and gear set for a less than 30m crate.

Practice Mode Phase Selection (buying JMOD reply)

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 04:55 AM PDT

I have yet to see a JMOD reply to this, despite a very highly upvoted post by another member of the community last week, and several more before that.

Can we please get phase selection for bosses, starting with Telos? Can we get some kind of idea on if this will ever happen?

edit: practice mode darts please? Copy paste death touch darts and make them practice mode only?

What is an important mechanic or feature that new players don’t get introduced to?

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 09:27 AM PDT

This is how I pass the yak track grind

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 07:42 PM PDT

Yak Track: Can we not get tasks that require limited resources (ie: Construction 2000+ Marble Cape Racks and above)

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 07:14 PM PDT

    Sanity check please.

To the MTX team, could you make sure that if you are going to require players to complete certain "high level challenges", that the task requirements fall within the realms of "reasonable" due to factors such as:

    - material costs

    - if the item can only be obtained from shops (Marble, Magic Stones)

    - tradeability and actual amounts traded on the market (translation: do a check on the GE for how many of the items are being sold)

If the actual costs to complete a task are starting to exceed .... oh ... say ... 50m GP ... it might be time to reconsider if said task should have a smaller starting point (ie: reducing from 2000 to ... 100? 200?) or reducing the level requirements to do said activity to allow more options to the player.

I get that there are 4 options:

    - skill option 1

    - skill option 2

    - do something that gets a skip ticket (1 or more Bonds, TH)

    - not do the Yak Track

There are players though that want to actively do the Yak Track. There are players that prefer certain tasks because they may be training that skill over the other (ie: they aren't 99/120/200m, they don't have that skill pet, strange/golden rocks).

But the task itself should be doable within the limits of what the player can actually do. Slapping "2000 of X" makes sense if it is something that can be bought on the GE or yeah, takes a day of farming the raw resources and converting them (planks, logs, fish, etc)

But to farm it from shops or PvM can take a week for Ironmen and it might even be the only method for normal players to get ... or the in game cost is quite high ... it doesn't reflect well that the team has failed to conduct a quick check of their own game for the viability of the task.

Graphical bug at Nex: Angel of Death (serious)

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 06:39 AM PDT

Recently within the past 2-3 days, there is a severe flickering/flashing effect happening at Nex: Angel of Death, which we believe is coming from aftershock. Normally aftershock spawns as a lightning bolt down on the boss, however it is graphically glitching and causing a severe flashing which could be harmful to players who suffer from epilepsy. I myself do not suffer from epilepsy but it is hard for me to even stay focused without getting a headache watching the flickering effects. It will usually happen on phase 3 where everyone is attacking the boss/minions (more aftershocks proccing together). Hoping this gets some spotlight so that it can be looked into before someone with an actual condition gets harmed. I can attach some twitch clips in the comments showing the bug itself.

PVM Hub Addition - Ability Cooldown Refresh at Training Dummies

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 03:00 AM PDT

I'm currently learning some new rotations with the assistance of some friends in the PVM hub at the dummies to the east.

It's all going well but I would love a way to be able to press something that instantly resets the cooldowns on all of my abilities while inside the training area so I'm not waiting 1-2 minutes every time I'm attempting a rotation.

Would there be a way to implement this as a feature (either with a crystal, font or something similar next to the bank chest) just inside that small dummy area in War's Retreat without it being able to be carried outside?

I was thinking possibly a barrier that you have to cross which would clear the cooldown refresh so it can't be carried out into the real world.

    Loot beams on Mimic tokens?

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 12:06 PM PDT

Can we get the option to turn this off? Kinda jarring to see a beam while half paying attention, only to be up 6k gp.

A heartfelt letter, this is one of the biggest reasons I am still playing this game after almost 15 years, the lore is just so good and I honestly have no idea what I've done to get this letter since its been so long since I did the questline associated with getting this letter. Great job Jagex

    IDEA: Quest Coin/Token

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 05:17 PM PDT

I was just thinking about this when I was hearing someone complaining about questing. My idea is the QuestCoin/Token. It's a reward from either treasure trails or the treasure hunter keys as an Orange/Red reward. What it does is if you have the pre-requirements for a quest that you don't really want to do, if you use a quest coin on it, it completes the quest right there. So say you have like 2 quests before you can get curses or something and you really don't want to do the quests. If you have 2 of these Quest Coins/Tokens, if you have all the skill requirements/Quest requirements done, you can use it on the quests and they'll be instantly done. Maybe make it only useable on old quests, or something like that. I feel like it would make questing faster and possibly more enjoyable/less time consuming.
