    Seriously after the removal of TAPP it was kind of clear what happened after, we had less updates, most of them being bland and feeling very forced.

    TAPP gave us some of the best updates out there like skyboxes, AoD, solak, clan improvements and many more.

    It helped prevent content dry streaks by allowing nice QOL and smaller updates to reach the game on a regular basis.

    I feel like if the game wants to go in a content rich direction again TAPP has to come back, it would allow finishing all the endless gamejam projects that never saw the light again, as well as so many wanted QOL and smaller updates to come to the game.

    Let elite armors not degrade on Reaper/Slayer tasks before you start working on their repair cost and set effects.

    Would be really nice to have the same treatment as trimmed masterwork not degrading on tasks and you'd see people actually using the sets outside of ED's before they actually give the set's set effects/reduced repair cost.

    Unless it's been confirmed that elite armors will not be getting the not degrade on task effect when they get touched up.

    (This is mainly about the npcs and the world, not the players)

    Does Runescape have good worldbuilding? Can an mmo have good worldbuilding. Maybe it's hard for me to tell because I've been playing too long, but I can't really see any good examples. I mean, I've heard somewhere that the alchemy spells creats coins that are considered counterfeit and thus illegal. Also for the guards on all their cities, bronze armor and weapons while in priff, everyone has crystal weapons. Which seems like a... slight power difference. I mean, in the digsite, there are dwarves mining the dark animica rocks, so in Falador, since there are a lot of dwarves, a strong blacksmith building(artisans), and ore, they can easily produce Orikalkum armor and weapons. Which would make Falador easily the most powerful and wealthy human settlement in runescape.... but it's not. Falador has the deepest faith, with most everyone's main god Saradomin in the main building, yet it still appears as though Varrock is the wealthiest, with two banks(3 if you count the grand exchange), a king(which Falador doesn't have before Saradomin came back, and who knows if he really cares about the economic state of Falador), and such.

    (last thing about the arms and armor of runescape is that there is still a war in Burthorpe against the trolls and they are still using sub-par weapons and armor. Even steel would be much better then the bronze that they use. Though since rune and beyond is now accessable. Why doesn't Falador help them, because if Burthorpe is taken, the next closest city is Falador and Catherby)

    Second is the mage training arena. Is it taboo or something, because it is and always has been empty of any novice wizards. Does it have viewpoints that the wizards tower disagrees with? Is it because it really isn't a good training arena as you need some experience(enchant jewelry level 1 to do anything in their). Maybe there's another room where there are dummies and the ability to buy a air elemental staff for training. Maybe the top wizards have the infinity robes as proof that they mastered magic at that training facility, while Zamorak wizards have a Zamorak staff from training at the wilderness mage arena. While we are talking about that, why isn't there anyone mining the essence to make runes. As mages, I would make a *guess* that having runes is productive to casting magic. I mean, the Great Orb Project would explain how they have all those runes since those two main wizards, Acantha and Vief send students to make runes at all the alters(minus astral because it's guaded by moonclan, soul because it's guarded by the devowerer and is probably not known to exist to anyone except the Zamorak wizard watching over the abyss, and blood because of course they wouldn't go into a vampire and demon infested castle to make runes that aren't even usable in the default spell book!), but they have to be getting pure essence from SOMEWHERE.

    tl;dr does runescape have good worldbuilding. If not, can an mmo have good worldbuilding?

    Umbral Chests Issue

    So I opened up and umbral chest just a few minutes ago and the first chest opened up with "5000 oddments". No after I opened up the next two chests I notice no oddments in my inventory. None in my currency pouch and none in my bank. I don't think i mistook 5000 oddments for 500. I also do not see them on the drop table for these chests. Am I stupid? Any help would be great!

    I rly tried giving this new mtx thing a chance.

    My main motivation was that I believed it would not run parallel to other promos. Boy was I wrong there. Other than this, it was also marketed as something fun to do. Turns out it is just another fucking grind. I expected the tasks to be more varied, more entertaining and maybe even temporarily resurrect some random dead content - similar to those old bingo cards. Wrong again.

    And yh, I am aware that what I paid for is mainly the cosmetic rewards, but in my book the quality/entertainment value of the gameplay counts just as much.

    Final verdict: the idea behind YT is solid, but the execution was a big fat boring failure.

    BGH: Sentinel Outfit > Trapper Outfit

    Anyone else think it's a bit embarrassing that the Sentinel outfits are superior for BGH than the Trapper outfit, the outfit actually intended for hunting?

    You can get Jungle logs faster with the Sentinel outfit which leads to faster BGH kills, but with the Trapper outfit you gain no benefit.

    It would be nice if there was a chance of setting up a trap or poisoning a spear faster or providing a free Frog Repellant or Dino Lure daily so the hunting outfit could be useful in BGH.

    I have twitch prime and got three chests today, one game me protean logs, the other Lucky Chaotic maul, then the third said 5,000 oddments. Oddments are nowhere to be seen. Am I the only one?

    QOL area looting change

    I don't care if there's only one item on the floor, let me use area loot!

    I have my area loot interface keybinded. When there's only one item on the floor (because bonecrusher/seedicide/herbicide/charm imp/gold accumulator/spring cleaner) then there are times I want to loot the only thing that drops (e.g hard clues at hellhounds)

    "There are not enough items in range to warrant opening the looting inventory" - I disagree, Jagex. I disagree.

    Removing Bonds from a Permanent Ironman

    Is there anyway to do it? Really wanted to play ironman mode so I loaded up with bonds in anticipation for premiere club, but I had a change of heart and no longer wish to play iron.
