    Hello Everyone

    We are looking to expand our moderation team by couple people. If you feel like you'd be a great addition to the mod team, please continue reading this post for more information on the process.

    To submit an application you are required to fill out the google form below, which will require a google sign in. It will ask you for basic information such as your Reddit username, activity, etc.

    Reddit accounts must meet a few prerequisites, they are as follows:

    • You must have 100+ comment Karma
    • Your reddit account must be at least 1 year old

    We will not reply to any application unless you have been successful and you will hear from a member of the moderator team through Reddit. The closing date for applications is October 23, 2020.

    There are currently THREE MTX promotions running concurrently. What happened to toning these down?

    1. Yak Track
    2. Travelling Artisan
    3. TH Promotion

    I'll be honest, I never expected three concurrent promotions, and my expectations were already really low. All three of this incentivize buying bonds. All three are limited time. At least only one is RNG, I guess? Granted, TH promotions are easily the most broken from a balance perspective.

    The icing on the cake is that this is all during a mental health awareness week.

    With more and more content that requires you to spend many hours logged in, it's might be about time the Logout Timer is extended.

    With yet another release of the Traveling Artisan, we have more "content" that requires a lot of hours of play time to complete.

    Extend the logout timer to 10-15 mins and embrace the "RuneScape is the perfect second-screen game" (their steam quote) semi idle game that it is.

    Especially with mobile, players can put their phone down for longer periods of time.

    You've now not only devolved to the point were you are having non-stop mtx events back to back, but now MULTIPLE mtx events stacked ontop of each other! All of which are grindy as hell requiring you to spend HOURS every day to complete

    This is far beyond the joke now, TONE IT DOWN! I'm sure the mental health charities you "support" would LOVE to hear all about how you encourage such an unhealthy amount of gameplay and all the predatory gambling tactics you employ in your mtx

    Because it doesn't seem to be runescape anymore. Since Arch release we've all noticed how updates have become less and less frequent. That would leave us with two conclusion, Either jagex is working on something big and massive that is runescape related(rs4, new engine,overhaul or major graphical rework etc..) Or The much worse news for us which is that Jagex has devoted most of it's resources into something else, non-rs related entierly. The way we got updates before indicated that the whole dev team was actively working on runescape, hence the frequency of consistent updates, where as now it is clear that all the devs cannot possible work on runescape <<OR>> They are, but it's so massive update that it takes ALOT of work and time. If that would be the case(which we all hope for), Just telling us would give peace to the community that you have not forsaken us and your main game in pursuit of something which is not your bread and butter. If it's the bad news that runescape is indeed suffering from lack of updates because devs have been moved to work on something else, THEN JUST BE HONEST ABOUT IT. Community is getting angrier and more restless each week, and rightfully so. It's not because huge updates aren't flying in every week. It's that MTX updates are increasing in frequency by huge margain each week, where as real, meaningful updates have gone the opposite direction. All of this doesn't make sense to community if we're being kept in the dark. Each patch week is heavily down voted, comments are full of displeasure and unless we get the truth, all the negativity in this subreddit will not go away.

    I personally am afraid it's the bad news, thats why they can't tell anything about it either, Players would be pissed as fuck that jagex has left runescape to work on something else while pushing MTX each week.

    I hate how half my game time is spent "turning in challegnes, checking my ships, checking my research, checking my player owned farm, checking my actual crops"

    by the time i Teleport around and actually finish, "checking everything".... its basically time to get off. If i don't maintain that checking status, I fall behind on good experience.

    I feel like im playing a mobile game where you build something and can boost it with money. except here in rs3, there is no "finish now"

    FIX THE GOD AWFUL INTERFACE LAG. I just lost a goddamn 30mil amulet of forsaken(a ton for me) from barrows because i hit the "bank all" button after opening the barrows chest, TWICE, and apparently it didnt bank it and that shit is just fucking gone forever. This is the only MMO, no, the only video game, that has this kind of problem. its OBSCENE.

    For clarity, I opened the chest, hit bank all. It felt off, so i opened it again and sure enough the loot is still there, so i hit bank all, then the window closed itself, so i teleported out. No loot. Gone forever. There were no mobs in the room with me, so they didnt interrupt. I am on a server with less than 160 people, and is in my specific region.

    Edit: come to think of it, it makes me wonder just how many chests i have lost because of this. probably a ton, but i cant tell unless there is a unique drop
