• Runescape was a very important part of my childhood
• just a cozy night mining with a friend
• This is something I stated 6 months ago too but selecting what combat exp you'll gain should NOT be buried deep inside settings. A lot of new players do not know this option even exists. Every time I see someone with crazy high defence I ask them if they know this setting. The answer is often no.
• Tea table of veteran players on world 19 Burthorpe answering questions, come join and help new players
• Please replace the old ship models that are still left in the world. There already are some good looking models so it shouldn't be that much effort. Bottom pic is the ship you depart on, top pic is the ship you arrive on.
• Honestly just an incredible feeling to be surrounded by so many new players :) Welcome to RuneScape, everyone!
• I had the opportunity to rerun the cave goblin quest series today and I remember this optional dialog with the lumbridge chef was the funniest thing ever. I did this particular quest on the day of release. Still my favorite quest series of all time.
• ED3 log completed on mobile!
• Just had one of the most fun days in RS ever
• After many deaths and countless millions spent on death costs me and my brother finally beat our first elite dungeon. (im on left)
• Been talking with new players for the past few hours the negative response I got the most was the confusing settings.
• PSA: You can access the Official Runescape Wiki by typing "/wiki" in the chat
• I fondly remember my first day. Welcome to RuneScape!
• Build the Grand Exchange in Minecraft. This is my creative test. I built the GE and Varrock Castle on a survival server. More pictures coming soon.
• Jagex, super niche request about font size. As a 1080p user I always felt 11pt as too small and now the 13pt is a little too big and takes too much space. Would it be much to ask for a 12pt font by any chance?
• TIL: Tier 114 Armour exists in the game
• Started Big Game Hunter for Totem Pieces and got hooked
• First Skilling pet on my Ironman at 53 Woodcutting

Just had one of the most fun days in RS ever Posted: 15 Oct 2020 12:48 AM PDT All I did today was help new players make bronze through steel amour, complete the first few sets of quest in the game. Walk between burthorpe, lumby, and Varrock. Rinse and repeat. Gave away tons of stuff. Friends list doubled, not just with new players but other pro's out there doing the same. Forgot how much content and visual I missed or forgot about because I can teleport, double surge, and blade dive everywhere. Was awesome having to stop because a highway patrol was attacking new players making their way to lumbridge and port sarim. Explaining why they don't attack other players. etc. Saw players stocking up on mind runes in lumby castle and talking how intense that catacombs were. Fun stuff. Now that is a blast from the past. Highly recommend to check out some of the more populated F2p servers this coming weekend and just hang out with the new crowd. submitted by /u/aconc [link] [comments]

Typing "/wiki [thing]" brings you to the official Runescape wiki for [thing]. For instance, "/wiki cow" opens a new window for cows on the wiki. It's time for us to be able to have multiple RuneScape profiles Posted: 15 Oct 2020 10:08 AM PDT I'm sure you can figure out a way to allow people to merge profiles under one email. Most players these days play alts or ironmen and sometimes use separate accounts for Old School. Please do not write comments like this off by blaming Steam. If you want to continue charging separate membership fees for each active profile that is fine. But there's no reason why players should be forced to keep the native client or create more than one Steam profile just to maintain their accounts. All other games that exist allow you to choose the profile you wish to play on from a pre-game lobby.
