    Comp/trim never used to be about just unlocking cosmetics for the sake of buying out a store, they were generally about permanent upgrades to the player or lore - things like mobilising armies or chompys etc were about gaining the permanent rank within the content, not just buying the cosmetics.

    Then prif was released, and all of a sudden we had to do a bunch of dumb grinds to unlock cosmetic titles, I think this was the first time interface cosmetics had been a comp req. This then sets precedent for ALL similar titles to be added to the capes, so why weren't they?

    Then they added artisans workshop rewards with the m+s rework, and deliberately tried to manipulate the prices of ore via the trim req, (iirc) this was the first time we had to unlock an interface cosmetic outfit for the Cape. This then sets precedent that ALL similar cosmetic outfits should be added to the capes, yet they weren't, why?

    Now with the penguin update coming soon, we have another completely cosmetic interface trim req, the pet. If you're going to add a pet to trim and say it's because we have to complete the store, then ALL other pets from stores need to be added to the capes. Things like soul wars pets and co-op slayer pets, even the lava golem pet from ed2 etc NEED to be trim reqs if you're going down this route.

    Now if it's more about buying out the store than the actual reward itself, why is the clue scroll store just completely excluded when it has perfectly viable titles, pets AND an actual useful outfit... The co-op slayer store also fits perfectly.

    It's also a slippery slope because if interface cosmetics from content are going to become the norm for comp reqs, then where do you draw the line? Why not skill or boss pets? Why not slayer or boss log titles? Why not vanquisher outfit or raptor outfit? Anything added to comp is instantly devalued, because people get it because they have to, not because they want to, but if that's what comp is about now, then please, add everything that fits.

    TL;DR Jagex need to start being consistent with comp reqs, if buying out a store is the requirement, add all stores. If titles/outfits/pets are acceptable comp reqs, add them all. Otherwise, stop adding them to comp/trim.

    Like, you summon a hydra for a while, it dissipates and the later you summon a hydra again. Do you think it's the same spirit? Just a weird thought. Any other weird thought to share?

    I woke up before sunrise this morning, and ended up booting up Runescape. For context I've been grinding Archaeology during work all week, and took a couple of days off.

    I figured I'd do a slayer task and hope for something semi-afk. I rolled greater demons and figured I'd solo Kril for the duration of my task.

    In short, HOLY SHIT.

    237x Greater Demons at Kril, Normal Mode

    Solo Mage, T70 perked out for slayer | Augmented Staff of Limitless Steam | Fire Surge | Cindebanes

    5x Elder Overloads, 2x weapon poison +++, 6x Super Resotre

    Loot:

    • 1x Garb of Subujugation
    • 1x Gown of Subjugation
    • 1x Gloves of Subjugation
    • ~260 Zamorak Wines
    • ~90 grimy lants
    • 6x Warpriest Items (Zamorak Components)
    • ~1.4m alched via spring cleaner

    Something like 17m and change from nearly AFK-ing Kril while I had coffee and cleaned my house this morning! I did the responsible thing and picked up a bond, but damn! I had been skipping GD tasks before this!

    Edit to say this took like 2 hours. The first hour, I used Penance Aura and Amulet of Souls. Second hour, I swapped to Split Dragontooth (I was carrying advanced ecto the whole time) and Vampyrism Aura. Probably faster ways to do this, but running Alt 1 with the lootbeam and lobby warnings, as well as SFX on, I basically checked in once every couple of minutes.

    The hell am I supposed to do with 18k rare item tokens Jagex.

    The "Rare Token Store" hasn't added anything in over 3 years, so why am I still getting rare item tokens in TH? I already own every item in the store, and I got the 4k rare item token purple TH reward 3 times today. It was really frustrating. Why does the "rare item store" still exist at all?
