    With RS coming to steam soon, maybe consider giving f2p players who finished all f2p quests and verified email/bank pin/2fa a 1 time ticket that grants a week of membership, enough time to make money for more bonds/try out membership and locked behind enough to hopefully be able to detect bots before getting there

    In this week of membership maybe don't allow them to sell/trade heavily botted items like cursed energy, and the like. Also this week doesn't remove the trade limit on f2p accounts

    I understand that posters are trying to help but I feel like there's a disconnect between here and the general playerbase. Whenever someone comes here for advice, normally a new or mid-level player they get met with this kind of somewhat mocking response that goes along the lines of "Oh you're struggling with something?, It's so easy to make money in-game man, just go camp Telos/do some other high level activity to get 99/120 in a skill.

    When high level PVM isn't available to the average player because of their skill level at the game or lack of PVM equipment and accessories. Certainly to the level where a player could just pump out several kills in an hour.

    Want to argue otherwise? Just look at the prices of drops from high level PVM bosses compared to their low level counterparts.

    It's starting to feel like this subreddit and the game, in general, is becoming a place for endgame players.

    Don't get me wrong, there are people on here who give great advice to struggling players. But I just wish there was less elitism at times and more understanding that every piece of content in-game isn't necessarily accessible to everyone. So telling someone just go do X, isn't helpful.

    I'm one of the few people who enjoy questing, but I'd like to replay them without going through the painstaking grinding for the stats/reputations.

    I just want to re-experience the quests themselves.

    PSA: Divine Conversion wont work for Kerapac track

    I'm at track 38 and had my relic Divine Conversion active. The counter went not up when I convert the memories to energy. So disable the relic if you want to do the track fast.

    Personally, i'll probably not leave a review on steam myself, i don't think i can summarize 15 years worth of experience and play time in a narrow yes recommend no don't recommend system as frankly RS3 (and OS) has its ups and downs that come and go so fast I really don't think it can be captured in a 500 comment reply..

    But that being said, I just have to ask to the people who are planning on review bombing the steam page (especially those from OS) have you... have you really thought about the greater ramifications if you're successful?

    I mean to me the majority of you are already acting like spoiled children or jilted exes, and to be very blunt with you, they don't truly care. If you've spent any time on the RS forums or even here on reddit, you'd know their response to negative backlash is to half heartedly say "we're sorry you feel that way" and continue on business as usual, or just completely ignore it. Do you really think your whining is really going to invoke a less hollow response? Having already seen the handful of Jmod replies on the steam, the answer is no, and you're an idiot if you think otherwise.

    Best case scenario, it does nothing except maybe net you a ban if you're that big of a problem. But the games numbers neither fluctuate or drop substantially and jagex will simply move on to other things as they always do when a project isn't a smashing success they can milk until it becomes an emaciated cow.

    Worst case scenario if you actually pull it off? It actually hurts rs3's already low numbers, and jagex looks over to OS and says "you know there's a lot of players in OS... how can we monetize it.." leading to a slow but sure poisoning of OSRS via micro transactions the exact same way they've treated RS3 for almost the past decade.

    I guess all i'm trying to say with this is think before you act. There are people with real grievances in how jagex handles things, but i guarantee you they wont give a damn about the steam storefront the moment they decide it's a hassle, as they did with the forums, and to an extent reddit and at best all you're going to do is make them abandon the steam storefront quicker to move onto a different storefront to try and push rs next.. and i hate to break it to the OS people but if they decide that the steam storefront isnt profitable for RS3, they'll probably forget about OS entirely for steam and move on to something deemed more profitable.

    Steam integration would be a great way to launch character profiles and stuff

    By that I mean that you can link all your accounts (Mains/alts/ironmen) to the one account via various character profiles under the one account. Don't need to stop the one membership per account thing but it would be nice to have a launcher and landing page for all your accounts and to just click one account to login with ect.

    I maintain like 6 accounts currently with membership and don't mind doing that but it would be nice to have some kind of system where everything is together like that. Steam does have that functionality for other games that Runescape could potentially plug into.
