    As the title said, it would be good to have something to say if we have the override already unlocked in the 2015-2018 section especially on the 2015 section as you cannot sell the tokens but still waste oddments on the tokens.

    Change Looting perk to have a percentage chance to drop extra item from monster's standard loot table

    Makes the perk actually useful; the items it drops just add clutter and are more annoying than helpful. For balance, the perk shouldn't work on bosses, won't proc on the rare drop table and it would be a low chance, between 1% and 5% instead of the 5 minute cooldown it uses now.

    FIX POISON DMG HIT IN ELITE DUNGEON!

    For god's sake, please fix the poison bugs on the Elite Dungeon's minions so the bank interface is not closed immediatly!

    You don't know how annoying it is not to be able to bank properly, just for not having a preset for these bosses. Me and several people I know are very upset about this issue.

    I cannot enter the bank interface neither being inside nor being outside the dungeon .

    It took me a while to find, but I found a chrome extension that can block certain websites from google results. I finally blocked the Fandom Wiki's for Runescape so I only get the official, up-to-date wiki results and don't mis-click the wrong one now!

    I really like RS3 content, and feel like as a community we should make an active effort to support them more. It's one of the best grassroots ways to build the game, and they have a lot to offer us as a community.

    Here are a bunch of the RS3 YouTube channels that I've found - this is not a curated list of the best of the best, but just whoever I found while searching. Some may be your cup of tea, others not as much - check some of them out and find out.

    Let me know if there's any active channels you'd like to see added to the list - including, or perhaps especially, your own channels!

    Runescape 3 is a monetization clown car

    Jagex uses the following monetization strategies for Runescape 3:

    Subscription model - While a F2P option is provided, a majority of the Runescape 3 content is locked behind a subscription fee. The consumer is able to access the additional content as long as they maintain an active subscription. (Introduced 27 February 2002)

    Loot boxes - The current incarnation of the Squeal of Fortune, Treasure Hunter, is a collection of various loot box style systems, many of which quite literally involve you opening chests with keys in exchange for in-game rewards such as cosmetics and items designed to give consumers advantages within the game. (Introduced 28 February 2012, Rebranded 4 February 2014)

    Cosmetic shop - Solomon's General Store is an implementation of a cosmetic shop in which consumers can purchase premium cosmetic overrides in exchange for a premium currency. (Introduced 17 July 2012)

    Premium currency - RuneCoins are Runescape's premium currency. RuneCoins are sold in fixed amounts. These fixed amounts tend to differ from the cost of the items they are used to buy, leaving consumers with leftover currency. This effectively increases the cost of the premium item that is purchased beyond the advertised price unless the consumer is willing to buy more RuneCoins and purchase more premium items. These can also be purchased by completing third-party offers such as surveys and purchasing outside goods and services. (Introduced 17 July 2012)

    Premium subscription model - Beyond the scope of the original subscription, Runescape also offers a premium subscription with three separate tiers. These tiers offer various combinations of cosmetics, loot boxes, subscription time, gated server access, in-game advantages, and discounts on other monetization strategies. (Introduced 20 December 2012)

    Bonds - Bonds operate as an in-game item that allow players to transact in-game currency in exchange for a token that can be redeemed for subscription time, premium currency, lootboxes, and battlepass progression. These are purchasable for real world currency and, while often cited otherwise, they do little to effectively combat real world trading. The intended benefit is to reduce financial fraud by providing cheaters with an in-game way to purchase subscription time, which effectively reduces chargebacks. (Introduced 25 September 2013)

    Affiliate purchases - Twitch Prime rewards are granted to consumers that purchase a subscription on a service outside of the Runescape platform. These rewards include cosmetics, lootboxes, premium currency, and subscription time. In exchange, Jagex benefits from increased exposure (advertising). While not a traditional system of paying for goods in services, this provides monetary relief to Jagex in the form of reducing their operating costs. (Introduced 11 April 2017)

    Battlepass - Runescape 3 offers battlepasses in the form of Yak Track. Battlepasses are a progression system based monetization strategy that provide challenges for consumers to complete in exchange for cosmetics or in-game advantages. Yak Track offers a free track and a premium (paid) track which includes significantly more than the free track. Progress can also be skipped by purchasing tier skips, effectively monetizing the battlepass two different ways. (Introduced 25 November 2019)

    This list is in chronological order based on the date in which these monetization strategies were introduced. None of these monetization strategies have been discontinued in favor of different monetization strategies and all are currently still in place in the game today. I compiled this list because I think it is important for consumers to understand all of the ways in which this game is being monetized.

    ​

    Gambling - The duel arena, while likely not the original intention, is a hard-coded form of gambling provided by the game. I have left this off the main list because I am not certain that it an attempt at a monetization strategy, but thanks to real world trade and legitimized purchase of in-game currency through an official source, an argument could definitely be made that Jagex profits in some way off of in-game gambling.
