The staff of sliske special attack is among the most useless in the game, especially on a current highest tier weapon. Its counterparts (ZGS/SGB) have 2 of the most used special attacks in the game and especially in the case of the ZGS are VERY powerful. i think its high time SOS was buffed to keep up, especially when mage is much weaker than the other 2 styles currently bar telos. Suggestions about a possible buff would be appreciated.

After having a shitty day in the real world I logged on to Runescape and achieved 120 invention a few hours ago after realising I had tons of stuff I forgot to siphon.

Like really? Why bother with having requirements in the first place when you are just going to have a 6 month grace period to complete and then extend it by another 3 months because its too RNG.

Its not like Jagex is even adding requirements, I gave up on comp over a year ago and am only missing 4 requirements most of which are incredibly quick. (Slime Quest, 2x Mini-Quest, Herb Bag upgrade)

For those of you who say that grace period exists so people don't rush through the content to get their cape back, is Jagex going to give us a grace period on Desperate Measures? I'm sure they don't want people rushing through that quest and spacebarring just to get their comp back, yet their (thankfully) won't be a grace period

Inferior ports	Can be bought	T80, can't be augmented
Elder rune (+5)	Can be bought	T80 (T85), can't be augmented
Linza's	Can be bought, augmentable	T80, set effect is completely useless since it forces you to use a T80 shield and weapon

I'd be happy to buy achto, I'd even be happy to grind it out if it wasn't time locked - but I can't, and it is. I'm not even saying, "Jee I want this to be easier to get." I'd happily put in twice as much effort to be able to get it on my own terms, at the times I decide to grind for it, rather than have to be on a schedule.

Inferior gets the job done when you need a defensive reset, sure, but without perks it's seriously pigeonholed into only possibly being useful for exactly that one purpose - no one wants to give up their perks especially after ancient gizmos were added.

And maybe I wouldn't even care as much if raids gear wasn't basically the only tank armour worth a damn - everything less than T90 in terms of tank gear is basically awful for anything other than PVP because it offers no meaningful set effect and only as much armour as T90 power armours, if not less. The PVM damage reduction they offer are puny, and the lifepoint bonuses are almost always meaningless and unimportant.

Isn't it kinda ridiculous that T90 power armour has just as much armour as T85 tank gear? The difference between high end power armour and tank armour in terms of armour is incredibly negligible. Why do this? If tank armour's, y'know, armour was significantly better than power armour's maybe it'd be used on that merit in some scenarios - that'd be kinda cool, and power armour would still be great too - but instead we've got power armour that is incredibly tanky and basically is always the better choice without any real competition to it.

It has been years and years and years. Come on Jagex.
