Re: petition to make luck of the dwarves relic cost 100 energy to be worth it.

    Posted: 28 May 2020 03:23 PM PDT

Since pvming is the end game, it's all about combat relic powers which are the meta. As it stands, i'm quite confident to say 99% of pvmers use Berserker's Fury and Fury of the Small relic powers. They are best for the energy cost that you have to work with. Now if you have those, you're left with a measly 100 energy that isn't enough for anything meaningful, so your best choice is to keep Font of Life that you got early on. That is sad because Luck of the Dwarves) relic is really good and useful, just not good enough to replace combat relics with, but if it were to cost that leftover 100 energy, it would certainly be a better choice to be picked over Font of Life for most of us. You get an extra inventory space and never have to worry about switching before every boss kill. I really hope jmods can make it happen. it would be really nice quality of life update.

Please remove an NPCs clickbox when its hp reaches 0

    Posted: 28 May 2020 04:15 AM PDT

This suggestion is credited to some other user who made this suggestion some time ago. I think it would be a huge QoL update, in particular, slayer would benefit greatly from it.

Currently, the clickbox will only disappear after the death animation.

Crafting/Fletching skill progression is complete bullshit

    Posted: 28 May 2020 03:55 PM PDT

    Fletching

    • T50 Bolts require 83 Fletching
    • T80 Bolts require 93 Fletching to make, but T85 requires just 89 Fletching
    • Stock for T60 crossbow requires 92 Fletching, but assembling the crossbow requires 90 Fletching. Meanwhile T70 crossbow requires just 70 Fletching to make
    • T65 Bows require level 90/95 Fletching
    • T87 weapon requires 87 fletching to assemble
    • T60 darts require 95 Fletching to make, but T82/88 darts require only 92 Fletching
    • T70 and T80 Arrows both require 95 Fletching but T92 Arrows require just level 92

    Crafting

    • T65 Tank Armor requires 93 Crafting to make, which is the same as requirements for T75 Tank Armor
    • T75 Tank Armor requires 98 Crafting while T90/92 Power Armor just 93
    • You can make Onyx/Hydrix rings sooner than Amulet of Glory

Can be something done about this already?

My First 120! Loot From 99-120 Dungeoneering + Hard Mode - All Solo

    Posted: 28 May 2020 06:00 AM PDT

Jagex - You have many compassionate players here. Please don't make compassionate players become angry players by ignoring serious questions.

    Posted: 28 May 2020 10:44 AM PDT

There have been many serious questions that Jagex ignores. We know it is deliberate ignoring because various mods reply to "silly" posts of people in costumes dancing at the GE and ignore the top questions on Reddit with hundreds of up votes.

First example is regarding the state of servers that have had server side lag issues when >200 players are on them. I'm not big into PvM (yet) but in my clan that is helping me the complaints of finding a world with less then 200 along with low ping is very real.

Behind the Scenes - We've been asking for these kind of videos to return. That doesn't mean they have to be in the format they were prior. Such as maybe a quarterly BTS or more of a preview stream like with the Great One, former Mod Shauny used to provide after then 3 minute BTS monthly clip dropped where he went more indepth in what we can expect (about an hour long iirc).

Lengthy content droughts - we appear to be in one now. How long will it last (Yack Track 3 won't count as actual game content)? I personally love the Ninja Team, they do so much for QoL though it isn't new content. Many players would like to see the game get closer to how content was released in the early 2010's up to Sliskey's End Game. Especially with mostly empty and vast areas like Menaphos and Anachronia where smaller bits of content can be inserted.

Ignoring these issues are only going to make players feel more angry instead of compassionate. We want the game to live another 10 years...but not if it will be only MTX promotions and lengthy content droughts.

QoL suggestion: add a (restored) to restored artefacts in bank

    Posted: 28 May 2020 02:56 PM PDT

Add a (restored) similar to (damaged) to the end of an artefacts name, or a filter in the drop down menu for artefacts in the bank interface.

This would make it easier to sort and find artefacts as they're just clogging up bank space

I have a few questions, I just started this week and love it.

    Posted: 28 May 2020 04:13 PM PDT

First I was thinking of doing the monthly fee, what does that give me over f2p? This is the Runescape not old school.

Second, How have I missed out on this game?

Third where can I get better mage staffs, I have the air one and fire one now and I am level 27 magic?

    Thank you!

Ceremonial sword plans have been bugged for more than 500 days

I recently achieved 120 Runecrafting, just thought I'd share some stats (small guide inside)

I recently achieved 120 Runecrafting, just thought I'd share some stats (small guide inside)

Hey! Basically, when Archaeology introduced Relics, I finally decided to go for 120 Runecrafting, as I have wanted the cape for a long time. If you didn't know, these Relics significantly buffed Abyss runecrafting to a point where Blood runes, with all boosts, are now 15m an hour at about 600-630k xp (with BXP) depending on focus.

    https://preview.redd.it/6umbe1eh9h151.png?width=488&format=png&auto=webp&s=d782b348ec7bd3633664a4b8db15c7287da89a64

I crafted blood runes for 43.4m xp, I started at 18m xp and the rest was done with Soul runes. Soul runes are roughly the same amount of xp per hour, trading profit for afk ability. I had BXP all the way to 120, but mind that BXP applies differently in Abyss runecrafting, only applying to the base xp, which means you don't need all that much BXP. In total, it took me around 140 hours over 6 weeks, taking into account xp gifts and dailies.

    In total I crafted:

    1.23m blood runes

22 rune pouches (2200 magical thread)

    ~70k soul runes

This sold for about 1.3b (Bloods at around 700 gp each, pouches between 19 and 21m, Souls ~1k ea)

In case you are wondering how Blood rune crafting amounts to 15-16m gp an hour:

43.4m xp is roughly 72 hours of Blood rune crafting. Souls sold for around 70m, so 1.23b from 72 hours (thread you get from Souls is negligible). This is roughly 17m an hour, however, about 10% has to be deducted in costs for essence, extreme Runecrafting potions and Powerbursts of Sorcery, so anywhere between 15 and 16m an hour depending on the price of Blood runes and thread. This is insane GP/Hour for skilling.

To achieve these XP and GP rates you need:

    • 99 Runecrafting (lower levels will cut into your profits)
    • 68 Arch for Pouch Protector and Nexus Mod relics (absolutely essential, don't bother without them)
    • Full Infinity Ethereal Outfit (Death/Law/Blood is a bit worse, but not bad)
    • Small, Medium, Large, Giant and Massive pouch (essential)
    • Runecrafting urns + Urn enhancer
    • Double Surge and Bladed Dive unlocked
    • Barrows defender with Mobile on it (could be an Excal, but Defender makes you unkillable)
    • Wilderness sword or Slayer cape for Edgeville teleports.
    • Summoning Level for Abyssal titan
    • Extreme Runecrafting Potions (Expensive, but worth it as thread chance and rune multiplier depend on level)
    • Powerbursts of Sorcery
    • Two bank presets and a bar for filling pouches and outfit (I copied Maikeru, this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyavbOuaujg, except I added an Extreme RC Pot in the filling preset)

This setup allows you to bring 103 Essence every run, doing an average of 10.5k essence an hour, which amounts to ~17.5k bloods and ~30 thread an hour. Bear in mind that if you are looking for profit only, or your level is not very high, Nature runes might be even better, though I haven't tested this a lot.

    Happy Runecrafting!

Let us open the area looting menu with no items or just one item on the ground

    Posted: 28 May 2020 02:21 AM PDT

Currently the game does not let players open the area loot menu via keybinds if there are no items or just one item on the ground. The game simply gives an error message saying "There are not enough items in range to warrant opening the looting inventory". This is bullshit because I know better than the game when opening the looting inventory is warranted or not.

This does not make much sense either, as with one item on the ground, if the item is not directly under my character, I would have to move my character to that item. If I were to use area loot, I would not have to move. With more than one item on the ground, I would not have to move at all using area loot.

Please let us open the area loot menu regardless of how many items are on the ground.

    Posted: 28 May 2020 12:50 PM PDT

so I've been doing a quest grind for some time now and I've realized there is a direct correlation between how much I enjoy a quest and if the quests are fully voiced or not.. every single quest I've done that has a full narrative I seem to enjoy so much more.. I know it definitely takes time and isn't that important but hey! I like them and I'm hoping someone agrees with me.. I wish they were all like this!

    Mysterious perk potentially solved

    Posted: 28 May 2020 01:55 PM PDT

Was scrolling through some old posts and came across this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/g59lcd/i_havent_played_in_a_while_but_im_just_wondering/fo2py4v/

It sounds like /u/EncodedNovus was on to something here. He theorizes that the mysterious perk causes all your other perk effects / general effects (seren spirit, waterfiend, etc...) to trigger at the same time. This lines up with the previous hints we've gotten about the perk relating to timestamps and other perks activating. Unfortunately I don't have the perk myself to test out his theory, but if some others could try and possibly corroborate his theory we may be able to finally put a rest to this mystery!

TLDR: See if using mysterious perk causes all your effects to activate at the same time.
