- If we had a coronavirus event
- Lamps got me Lv 4 Invention Before I've Unlocked It
- Accurate
- Week #4 of ECB spec broken at nex
- The new material storage view is awesome!
- Do I really need an alt to play this game? Is this the norm now?
- Infant Mortality was REALLY high back then
- Improved the material storage GUI a bit to get rid of the unnecessary whitespace and scroll bar and with a better order. Even more preferably it would be a resizeable inv like interface, with the same (customizable) order as material box.
- What a reward for 120 Arch
- I love that you get so many notifications when you receive a drop these days,
- Altscape effect on material caches and health of game
- Guys i think we broke solak... (3 drops in a trio)
- Could the Patch notes (and Solomon's General Store) be more clear about the Resourceful aura for Archaeology?
- Anyone else's Archaeology tab getting crazy?
- Now that Imp Souled teleports materials to the Archaeology material storage, is it possible for Fortune to send it's doubled material to the material container?
- In the past 7 months players obtained 33 Tavia's fishing rods, 43 Orlando Smith's hats... and 302 Hazelmere's signet rings.
- Can Jagex please look at bad luck mitigation for 3x artifact excavation sites?
- Jagex please do something about alts mass farming inquisitor staff pieces
- The map on the 'floor' of the Stormguard Citadel's skybox is rotated 180 degrees from what it should be.
- Howl's Workshop (113+118 Arch) is painful to look at
- Lazy Peon's first impressions of RS3 video!
- Fix: Red Rum Relics 2 / Green Gobbo Goodies 3 collections

Altscape effect on material caches and health of game Posted: 20 Apr 2020 05:55 AM PDT Maybe it's just me but every cache I hit is flooded with 2-3 alts or bots that are level 1 in every stat but arch. I had a chat with one and he says he runs 15 alts to farm mats and inq staff and had made well over 15b since arch released by pure afking. Maybe it's me being salty that I can't support this but competing against all these alts as they drive the prices down can't be healthy to the game or to new players who have a chance to make money. You can see that gold rune caches or caches that require quests have minimal alts/bots and thus prices are holding but anything remotely easy to farm has crashed. At the very least adding dig site would be a deterrent. The biggest concern for me is that as a main you want to operate on 100% but as an alt farmer or bot being at 50% is fine as 50% over 10 accounts is still 500% efficiency. Instead now everyone needs to operate at 50%, mains included who aren't alt farming. Thoughts? Should people be allowed to run multiple alts at once to enrich their mains or is this unhealthy for the game. Don't get me started on inquisitor staff... that's a whole new can of worms waiting to be opened. Edit: Getting a bunch of nasty PMs from who I presume are bot owners or alt farmers. Keep them coming, you are only proving my case. [link] [comments]

Posted: 20 Apr 2020 03:57 AM PDT A staggering 171 of those 302 HSRs have been obtained since 30 March. I gathered the data from the last 3000 system broadcasts all the way back to September 2019. Other totals of note:
Edit: 30 insane final boss title broadcasts (I forgot to check for it). [link] [comments]

Jagex please do something about alts mass farming inquisitor staff pieces Posted: 19 Apr 2020 10:23 PM PDT Inquisitor staff is currently at 185m. Considering it is the best staff at high-end bosses (telos/solak/aod), the price is a joke compared to noxious staff t90 at 150m. This is due to the mass of dishonest cheaters abusing alts with lvl 12 archaeology during pylon times, which now goes off 3 times per day. While this may not be against the rules, this definitely is against the spirit of the game. One may argue the drop rate at pylon times are low enough to prevent abuse. But as we can see from the mass of staff pieces flooding the market, the sheer amount of alts have completely offset the supposedly low drop rate. Inquisitor staff's counterparts are much harder to acquire. For terrasaur maul, it takes immense effort to farm t3 dinos for a measly 1/1000 drop rate for only one of the three maul pieces. This translates to over 3000 bgh kills in at least 180+ hours for the maul. The hexhunter bow is a 1/1.5million drop from soulgazers. Enough said. Edit: suggestions credit to AsphxMeHarder (1) pieces should only be available during pylon and only at the war room spot; (2) make it so you only roll the drop each time you get your time sprite to 100% during pylon. I really love a J-mod response on this, and hopefully the market will not be soon flooded by 20 mil inquisitor staffs that are best-in-slot anytime soon. Edit: seems like I am getting lots of downvotes and negative comments. This is totally understandable considering this post is directly against the interest of many people who farm the staff pieces. Howl's Workshop (113+118 Arch) is painful to look at Posted: 20 Apr 2020 03:10 PM PDT I don't have epilepsy, but I swear the lightning strikes caused by the Gravitational Core in Howl's Workshop really hurt the eyes and are disorienting. No graphical settings change this at all. Players have to be here over 10mil xp total if training at the highest possible spot. I've resorted to panning the camera behind a wall most of the time I'm here, because zooming doesn't help too much since the lightning strikes happen at all depths. Plus you still need to get there, so not the best idea to stay zoomed in considering entering the area puts the camera right up to the core in the first place. Can Jagex please do something about this? [link] [comments]

Fix: Red Rum Relics 2 / Green Gobbo Goodies 3 collections Posted: 20 Apr 2020 03:10 AM PDT Currently, you need the Hobgoblin Mansticker artefact (lvl 110 arch) for red rum relics 2 collection and you need the Dorgeshuun Spear artefact (lvl 100 arch) for Green Gobbo Goodies 3. Obviously, these two items should be switched. Please (hot)fix. [link] [comments]
Dummies still cannot be placed in AOD instance, PvM hub or GWD2 Posted: 20 Apr 2020 06:04 AM PDT It's been like this since the Archaeology release - any update regarding a potential fix for this? [link] [comments] |
