1 simple question to MOD WARDEN

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 06:32 AM PDT

    hello,

in October 2019 you said you will bring out a roadmap for the big updates of 2020.
in December 2019 you said that you needed more time to work the roadmap out.
in a stream you were talking about a glass box transperacy to communicate to the player base.
now we are over half of the 3rd month in 2020 and we have still not heard anything about you or your 'gamechanging" tactics with the communication nor your roadmap.

when are we gonna get your roadmap?

Jagex, It's Time to Bring RuneScape's Full OST to Spotify/Soundcloud

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 01:50 AM PDT

Today I made the devastating discovery that Yann's original channel has been terminated. It seems he/she has already begun re-uploading, but it's still really upsetting to see.

RuneScape has a world-record soundtrack and some of the most memorable and nostalgic tracks of our childhoods. I get a pang of nostalgia listening to the old Zelda or Mario songs, but nothing puts me on the literal verge of tears except RuneScape's music.

YouTube fuckery is only getting worse and worse as time passes, but RuneScape's music is only getting better and better.

Some virgins play the game with sounds turned off, but the rest of us need this.

Took months of on and off skilling. This felt ridiculously cathartic to craft.

Menaphos' release as an expansion ended with a cliffhanger that 3 years on and with huge lore implications has not been resolved

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 12:56 AM PDT

Howdy, I know it takes a phenomenal level of virginity to complain about the lore, but Menaphos was released as a set of 5th Age quests detailing the remaining 2 aspects of Tumeken that hadn't yet appeared. Both of these aspects were rescued during the questline meaning that currently all 4 are accounted for and ready to fight Amascut.

The questline ends with Amascut the Kharid-ib at the Soul Altar with Tumeken asking his daughter to stop what she's doing. This is a pretty important scene because it confirms that Tumeken is in a similar form to pre-FotG Zaros, rather than comatose (Tumeken self-destructed to end the a war between himself and Zaros).

The continuation of this plotline is then in a somewhat weird position, as it has to continue following Sliske's Engame as neither Tumeken nor Elidinis had a part in the competition for the Stone of Jas and so are not referenced in dialogue, even by Icthlarin, their son. This is also further made strange as Amascut, a famously power hungry deity also had no part in the race of the Stone of Jas, and so the questline seems very confused as to which side of this conflict it will eventually end on.

Rant over, just hoped for this questline to be resolved or even followed up on after Menaphos' release.

    Making urns is annoying lol

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 01:58 PM PDT

Every time I make urns it auto selects strong urns instead of decorated. Also, I need to manually switch to the urn tab, even for the pottery oven when the only thing in my inventory in unfired urns.

could y'all improve this interface? suggestions:

-auto select the highest level urn you can make

-auto select the urn that correlates with what is in your inventory for pottery oven

-I don't mind the pottery wheel interface, but it would be nice if it remembered what you made last

[New player experience] Quest: "Myth of the White Lands" is neither beginner nor mobile friendly and should be either be turned into a formal tutorial that introduces game tiles, or be removed as a quest. Solution for ninjas in the description.

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 06:57 AM PDT

Would like to remind that game content which focuses too heavily on game tiles should not be content that new players can stumble upon in day one of creating the account. Game tiles are actually a pretty hard concept to grasp for modern day gamers. I personally played alongside a day 1 friend on the pc and the paths system led them to this quest. It took them an hour to navigate the first room and then they just didn't want to play the game anymore.

That said, here's some low effort solutions:

1). Remove it from Paths and bump the difficulty up from "Novice" to "Intermediate".

2). Remove it from the quest category and turn it into a miniquest.

3). Bump it up to "Intermediate" and code in a few disclaimer paragraphs explaining how game tiles work, turning the quest into a mini-tutorial to learn the game tile system.

If this is not something the ninja team can do, pass this suggestion on to the mobile dev team or the new player experience team.

    Help WITH MY LAG PLZ!!!!

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 03:27 PM PDT

I have a relatively nice gaming laptop. I can play a lot of games on it lag free, but for some reason it has an issue playing runescape with anything above minimal graphics! My specs are:

    GeForce GTX 1050ti intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7300HQ CPU @ 2.5gz 8gb RAM

What are some of my options? I want to play and enjoy the graphics at the same time! Thank You!!!

The biggest problem being when I adjust the viewing angle with my arrow keys!!
