    This year's Yak Track is a bigger disappointment than last year's and it is a lowkey scam

    The tasks much worse than last years, even though they said they would improve it. But I am not even half way in and I have tasks to cook/fletch 2.5k+ items. I have heard the numbers go as high at 6k+. This is not even fine on regular account, where you can buy the resources.

    The tiers of resources are also all over the place. One task you can catch shrimps and up and next is Rocktail and up.

    The biggest offender is how the next tier cosmetics are previous tier re-coloured. Also the cosmetics on their advertisements don't even match the in-game thing. Metal trims on capes are silver/gray (ugly ass shy metal shit again) instead of gold. Sheratan 2h sword looks light blue and green on the picture, but in-game it is solid dark green.

    I did the last Yak Track, but fuck this one.

    PSA - Do not wear Farming cape when harvesting patches for Zodi-yak track - BUG

    Don't wear farming cape when harvesting patches. I've had mine on and it screwed me over.Task 34, harvest 50 avocado or above. Bought 10 seeds and 10 bushy potions. Harvested it all, recieved 51 avocados. Game only showed 40/50 progress. Went to bank, bought some more seeds and potions. Tested it with 1 seed. I picked 1 avocado and farming cape picked 4 noted ones. It counted as 2 harvests on zodi-yak track instead of 6, progress went to 42/50.

    It isn't just Jagex having these issues. Blizzard has been hit too (think it was worse earlier in the week). The mods that mitigated the two attacks deserve some credit for their hard work while we game.

    To Unlock Researchers / Research:

    • Dig Site
    • The Golem
    • Desert Treasure
    • What Lies Below
    • Complete an Anachronia Totem Ritual

    For Notable Unlocks:

    • Rocking Out
    • Land of the Goblins
    • Bringing Home The Bacon (Only a requirement for Ironmen)

    For Specific Rewards:

    • Fairy Tale 3
    • The World Wakes
    • Koschei's Troubles (Started)

    For Crystal Mattock (and Space & Time Mattock):

    • Plague's End

    To Reach Everlight:

    • Access to Morytania (defeat the Ghoul under Paterdomus).

    Caches:

    Some Caches will have Quest Requirements to access. We do not know what these are.

    Mysteries:

    Some Mysteries (the miniquest / narrative aspect of the skill) may have quest requirements. These may be the same as some of the quests above, or be other quests we do not know about.
