The 2020 roadmap wasn't ready for 01/01/2020 which can be overlooked, but 1 and a half months later, really? I've played since 2005, and I have never feared about the direction of the game so much until we hit 2020. Please can you give us an idea as to what's actually happening? There's probably more but come on just those two should make it a candidate. Also it gives the art team an excuse to finally visually update The Golem. (Both quest and NPC.) ----- Edit: Thanks for the feedback guys. Glad I'm not the only one that fondly remembers The Golem quest and its area. Ever since playing that quest I've been hoping to make my own golem companion for fighting. Maybe that will someday come to be now since Jagex alluded to making golems available from the Bandos and Armadyl Archeology sites, but we all know who and where the real OG golem is. How Ancient Invention Gizmos should be done instead. Posted: 17 Feb 2020 04:56 AM PST The way ancient invention is being developed is not good at all. It won't change the perks people use or give room for people to try new combinations. Biting 3 will just become Biting 4. The same might happen with crackling, impatient, aftershock and Enhanced Devoted. The current meta of P4e2+As3 / Biting3+Crackling3 / Impatient 3 + Enhanced Devoted 3 will become P5e3+As4 / Biting4+Crackling4 / Impatient 4 + Enhanced Devoted 4. Simply a direct upgrade of what we already have, and at the same time, giving all those older gizmos we already have no use when we make the new ones. Ancient invention gizmos should instead be focused on adding a second perk to a 1perk gizmo. i.e.: You got a afershock 3 gizmo, previously made with normal invention. With archaeology you can turn that gizmo into an ancient gizmo and add 4 more components to it, which will then roll the 2nd perk, allowing you to make several combinations with AS3, but not AS4. You could then combo AS3 with strong versions of Flanking, PF, Lunging, Ultimatums, Caroming, Invigorating, etc... But never a AS4. The same would apply to our biting3, crackling3, impatient3, etc.... Ancient invention should be focused on giving more diversity to perks we can use. This would highly reduce switchscape, keep older gizmos relevant, not be a direct powercreep upgrade that doesnt even change the meta. Pros: - Reduces Switchscape Cons: - Too close to release, might delay even more ( are we really even close?) [link] [comments] | ||

Slayer Mask Won't Allow Me to Teleport? Posted: 17 Feb 2020 10:02 AM PST Despite having the fully upgraded slayer helm on the stand in Anachronia (which grants its effects passively in game), it does not allow you to teleport to certain creatures (in this instance Dust Devils) as it says "You need to be wearing a protective face mask of some sort before teleporting there". If you wear the mask it allows you to teleport but that's because it acts as the protection you need - so is the slayer stand broken or something as it is not providing its passive effect? Edit: You can put it on, teleport and then take it off and still have the protection. Not sure if this is just an oversight on the teleports? [link] [comments] | ||

Praesul - 25/50% chance of saving runes when using a spell Khopesh - Chance of saving armour spikes(?)
