- DXPW: The timer will NOT count down while in the Lobby. | Ranch Out of Time will not receive Double XP.
MTX Timeline - Nov. 25th - Premier Pass Event
- Nov. 26th/27th - Experimental TH promotion
- Dec. 1st - Advent Calendar
Newspost - Nov. 25th - Jan. 5th (6 Weeks)
- 2 tracks (free/premium) progress by completing challenges. Each have rewards.
- Players can pay to advance without needing to do challenges.
- Premium track costs 2 Bonds. (Current and New Premier Club members access it for free.)
- Rewards - Consumables & 33 Cosmetics = 4 Pets, 3 Outfits, 6 Animations, 15 Weapon overrides.
- Available to everyone including ironman.
- Premier Club members will get free access to the premium tracks that occur through the year.
Development - Pitched in June/July | Production began in August | Planned for October but delayed to finish polishing it.
- Was not meant to be a Halloween event, it was just meant to have a Halloween theme.
Treasure Hunter Promotions A way we hope will foreground some of the things we've been saying about reducing RNG and providing more transparency as to the types of prize you'll be getting. - Starting Nov. 26th/27th there will be a new experimental TH promotion.
- Theme: Alice has gone away and left her wares unattended no chests just a class case.
- All prizes that you see can be claimed, the order in which they drop is still random. So if you have 10 keys you'll get all the items you see in front of you, at which point the table resets. Each time you take a new item the oddment refresh cost will go down.
- Hearts of Ice don't currently play a role with this trial.
Core Experience Team Our goal is to get players to play with each other and to continue to grow the number of users coming into the game. To insure that we need to streamline and modernize the game so it remains relevant and that its ready for the future. Smooth Movement - Upcoming initiative spoken about at Runefest, planned by the end of the year/early next year.
- The characters won't immediately pivot, there's a smoother feel to the animation.
- No need to change the animation, it's done on the engine side.
- It doesn't affect the core-gameplay.
- Demo/gameplay next week's stream and a Blog in the next couple of weeks.
Other Projects Things we and players really want. We don't want to make an experience that's too different than what we have now while at the same time making it feel good. - We need to test to make sure changes have a positive impact on the game, and beta test to make sure there are no issues.
- Outlining/Silhouetting - Make it obvious what can be interacted with.
- Quests on mobile are especially tricky due to not having a mouse-over so this would help.
- Canopy thing - See through objects like trees.
- Client side prediction & Tick Improvements.
Mobile - Early Access - Goal: Get it out to as many of our members as possible.
- We also want feedback on how new players react to it so we can make improvements.
- Area test are testing in Finland because data shows Runescape has a big brand awareness there.
- When we do go into other territory we will let you know.
- IOS is still being worked on but it's a platform limitation. Google has more flexibility to deliver a build in a closed beta.
- In IOS we are going to do something more creative to get as many players into a build as possible.
- We are thinking on how we can execute on that hopefully sooner rather than later.
- Full commercial launch sometime next year will include IOS. New info in the new year.

There are no complex breeding chains like with Dragons. The Ravensworn trait is still obtainable but there aren't any achievements tied to it. There are no unique traits for them. BGH Dinosaurs are all separate. (Corbicula Rex can only breed with a Corbicula Rex, not with a Bagrada Rex). Growth rates will continue on from dragons, so you can expect them to be an extension of that. Breeding rates, they will be in a similar area for dragons. Extracting from Corb Rex gives you - Bottled Dinosaur roar (other dinos give other things). - Easy - 1/5 Chance | Medium - 1 Guaranteed | Hard - 3 Guaranteed
Other Farming - Pre-release Animal Drop Rates will be made more common.
- Seed Storage: We looked into but there were problems on the tech side due to the sheer number of seeds.
- We considered a small batch but determined it was either do it for all seeds or none.
- Achievement - Buying everything from the new shop (no grace period).
- Future combat encounters will take into account new food.
- Seedicide does not give Farm Rep.
Herblore - There are no plans for more extended potions.
- Invulnerability Bombs could splash but since an AOE over-time it has multiple attempts to hit per use.
- Leveling Benefits:
- Obtain more extract per pulp, "i believe this happens twice but i can't tell you the numbers"
- 2 for each Bomb and Powerburst, unlocked at different levels.
- The first benefit for each makes the potion faster
- the second benefit for each reduces one or more ingredients
- Charming Potion will only work with PvM due to issues implementing it with familiarisation.
- This will be fixed in post-release.

| Average value of elite clues from a sample of 14,763 elite clues Posted: 19 Nov 2019 04:39 AM PST A short while ago, I set out on a project to quantify the average value of an elite clue. Here are the summary statistics from 14,763 rolls on the elite clue drop table. WITHOUT any dyes/druidic pieces: Probability of getting a reward casket with NO fortunate component is 68.5%, with an average value of 217k. Probability of getting a reward casket with ONE fortunate component is 27.2%, with an average value of 679k. Probability of getting a reward casket with TWO fortunate components is 3.3%, with an average value of 1183k. Probability of getting a reward casket with THREE fortunate components/valuable god pages is 0.8%, with an average value of 2471k. Combining all, the probability of getting an elite casket without a dye is 99.9%, with an average value of 393k (standard deviation = 337k). Next, adding dyes and druidic into the picture… I got 5 barrows dye, 3 shadow dye, 9 ice dye, 1 third age dye and 2 Druidic Wreath in 14,763 rolls on the elite clue table. This brings the average value of an elite clue (before rerolls) up to 1.49m, with a huge standard deviation of 37m. Considering how much longer it takes to hunt and solve an elite clue compared to hard clues, I would personally love to see a slight improvement to the elite clue loot table. One suggestion would be to include puzzle and knot skipping tickets and increase the number of meerkat scrolls by scaling to the tier of clue. Conclusion Without any dyes and druidic pieces, the average value of a roll on the elite clue table is 393k. When dyes and druidic pieces are counted, the average value increases to 1.49m. To account for rerolls, multiple values by 1.33. If you are interested in how the loot distribution looks like graphically, I have a video documenting this project in the following link: https://youtu.be/UDw46N_Fw90 Happy Clue Hunting! submitted by /u/TA_US [link] [comments] |

| PSA: Get a full inventory of jars in the Hall of Memories before DXP starts Posted: 19 Nov 2019 06:16 AM PST Basically because most of the XP from Hall of Memories comes from placing the jars in the pool and not from the gathering portion of it, you can get a full inventory (leave room for urns) before logging out on Thursday night. These jars aren't bankable so the only way you can stack them up is if they are in your inventory. This allows you to get ~200k XP within the first minute of DXP for you, without wasting the 15-60 minutes (depending on level) it takes for you to fill your inventory with Jars of your DXP time submitted by /u/WasV3 [link] [comments] |

| PSA: Luring Still Exists... Posted: 19 Nov 2019 12:56 AM PST For those of you who are RS veterans, you may be familiar with this lure. Its quite simple in nature just a different way to lead your victim into the wilderness. I want to raise awareness so it doesn't happen to anyone else. This nearly happened to me yesterday. --- I was just getting ready to do some ED3 token/rushes (whatever ppl call them) runs when the lurer approaches me in the Prifddinas bank area and public messages me asking if i wanted to do some ED runs. I quickly accept thinking what luck... and coincidence. The lurer immediately sets up a group for Temple of Aminishi (ED1 I believe). They proceed to invite me where i see a third member already in.. I get my gear and invent setup... I ready up. There's some trivial chat in the group. They ask me if i can use Ice Barrage (ancients magiks). I say why not and proceed to change via the magic cape (FYI- i have never used ancients ever since unlocking them - are they good for ED runs?). But then this is where i get suspicious.. He doesn't teleport me in with the group teleport, he tells to take these law runes and teleport to Annakarl which is in the ancient spell book (i had my blood runes in my pouch for the barrages). Also note i don't know what/who/where Annakarl is. I take the runes but dropped them immediately (encase i mis-clicked), I hover my mouse over the 'A' icon which indicates the teleport to Annakarl to try see if there is a description and if the wilderness is mentioned in it. There was none (or i didn't read it properly). Next thought - bring up the wiki. I searched 'Annakarl', LO AND BEHOLD the teleport takes you to 42 Wilderness... At this point in time my hearts beating quickly as i have just avoided a lure and potentially losing some of the items i worked hard to get. After a minute he messages me asking if i was going to teleport or what. I dumped my gear/inventory in the bank and grab the laws and bloods and teleported to check out the lure. I didn't see them on the minimap. They were Probably hiding somewhere. As expected i got kicked from the group shortly after. I didn't think about taking a photo/recording this at the time so i have no proof *sad face*. --- So if you made it this far, just remember if you were invited into a group the host has an option of you directly to the area of interest without you having to use a spell. If you have been a victim of a lure, let me know below so we can raise awareness and not get lured.. TLDR: Invited to ED run via group invite. Readied up. Host didn't use Group teleport. Asked me to teleport elsewhere unfamiliar to me. Got suspicious. Banked items then teleported. Their lure failed. submitted by /u/jamsa123 [link] [comments] |

| From 29-99 Farming in 25 steps with PoF Posted: 19 Nov 2019 10:48 AM PST I chose 29 farming as the starting point as that is the level you get after completing the Garden of Tranquility quest, this quest is pretty worthwhile as it gives you the ring of charos (a), specifically it is needed for Curses. You'll also want to buy a couple Adol Dragons to get your beans off the ground, specifaclly getting the 2nd small pen. The idea is that you buy the unchecked animals from the GE (or with beans) and then once they are elder you would check them all and remove them from the pen and sell them for beans/to other players for GP. Make sure you feed them as well to get full XP, all the food is really cheap (~25 gp) except for Dragons and Zygomites (cheaper food should come with 120 Farming) The IRL Time represents the amount of time between checks, its not the most efficient thing to check at the same point in every day, but it is considerably easier to keep track of. In total the animals needed are - Chicken - 72
- Chin - 240
- Sheep - 24
- Spider - 24
- Zygomite - 92
- Cow - 35

| Loot from trying to get Jadinko eggs Posted: 19 Nov 2019 12:37 PM PST https://imgur.com/a/fjiaBxY 12 eggs in 9324 catches for a drop rate of 1/777 decided against going for all eggs, since some jadinkos are more spread apart giving less catches and less xp/hr and I didn't wanna go super dry there. currently over 2k camo dry but I was getting over 700 catches/hr and over 500k hunter xp/hr made it more manageable. don't remember the exact catches for the other jadinkos but it was easily 600+ BONUS: got 1 venomous dinosaur egg in 2800 kills off task. took about 8-9 hrs submitted by /u/ieastass69 [link] [comments] |
