'Desperate Measures' was absolutely incredible Posted: 27 Jul 2020 06:07 AM PDT Given that quests have been in a weird spot as of late, I wasn't sure what to expect with Desperate Measures. To my surprise, it was full of new assets, areas, had amazing lore reveals, was fun, felt dramatic, great rewards. Super, super, super, super great. One of the best quests in a very long time. Can't praise it enough. P.s: I really hope we get to go back to Kerapac's Lab and that Desperate Measures is a prerequisite for the Orthen Digsite [link] [comments]

Jagex, for the love of god, please let us use movement abilities in quest areas. Posted: 27 Jul 2020 06:10 AM PDT I have no clue why you disable movement abilities, such as surge and escape in quest areas, but it's especially annoying that we can't even use barge. Mutated barge is part of every better melee ability rotations, so taking it away is pretty bad. Especially for the fact that you added a timegated bossfight for Desperate measures, that was nothing challenging, just made you stand there for long seconds before you could do anything twice. In those cases, barge is always used in normal combat. Taking it away really sucks. [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Jul 2020 09:01 AM PDT Currently in player owned ports, after getting all unlocks, you can still harvest the materials for decent profit. Bones and spice are great for their original purpose, and you can also get decent money from plate/chi/lacquer, mostly because their products disassemble into silent/oceanic/resilient components, which can be made into demon/dragon/undead slayer codex's. However, there are two black sheep. Pearls and koi scales are almost worthless. It takes 80 of either to make something tradeable, and those only sell for 200k-300k. I just end up re-rolling those voyages. For a solution I propose adding Oceanic components to the leviathan ring and Silent components to the reefwalker cape. The reason to not add plate is that Dino hide armor already provides another source of resilient components. I would suggest that they should drop at least 6 of each, to at least somewhat reflect their material cost being 80 instead of the normal 3/30 ratio for the helms. [link] [comments]
Make the Cosmic Accumulator toolbeltable Posted: 27 Jul 2020 07:40 AM PDT Maybe make the ability purchaseable with chronotes or something [link] [comments]

Limit MTX from affecting new accounts Posted: 27 Jul 2020 10:01 AM PDT I feel like new accounts shouldn't be hit with MTX like treasure hunter, oddments, twitch prime, etc, until they hit a certain skill/quest total. This would have a few benefits: It would allow new players to learn the game without being bombarded with content that's not really relative to them yet It would also squash massive alt farms and require them to get levels in order to get daily keys Many games actually already do this, specifically almost every mobile game with a premium currency. The standard currency is used for everything up front, and as the player progresses, the premium currency must be purchased to continue making progress. This allows the player to get comfortable with the game before being hit with constant mtx reminders. Although I'm not a fan of mtx, I understand that it's here to stay. However, there are ways to make it better and more livable for the average player. [link] [comments]

Give Ashdale more of a purpose after tutorial Posted: 27 Jul 2020 02:25 AM PDT Please. There's like nothing there to do whatsoever except a useless D&D. Put in a new quest. A new agility course. Make it like the Miscellania Management. Burn it to the ground and make a quest to be able to repair and build the village to whatever style you want (like a fishing colony, miners colony, farming colony, etc). There's literally NO point in having a lodestone to a place where you do nothing and haven't touched since level 3. [link] [comments]

[Bug] PSA: Transmuting Arc Items is Broken Posted: 27 Jul 2020 06:33 AM PDT Transmuting Arc items is currently only giving 1 item instead of 10. So 10 wobbegong oil become 1 shiny tortle shell bowl, 20 alaea sea salt become 1 wobbegong oil, etc. Hold off on any transmuting until Jagex fixes this. Happy Monday, y'all. [link] [comments]
Making Araxxor Spider Minions Central to the Player Posted: 27 Jul 2020 12:33 PM PDT Things like mirrorback spiders spawning underneath Araxxor & being unclickable/frustrating have existed since this boss' release, despite some modifications. Why not just make it simply so the spider minion spawns are centralized around the player, and not Araxxor? It makes more sense too, honestly, and would likely alleviate the issue entirely. Thoughts?
