    Dialogue for Kal'gerion demon (familiar)

So, I was trying out the new kalg demon familiar from ancient summoning during a slayer task, went to Lumbridge to get help with an effigy and accidently clicked on him. He had a whole conversation about drakes and peopling hating how big he is! I love Jagex for these little "Easter eggs". Apparently, you need to boost summoning to understand him. Cheers!

Mod Timbo updated most Archaeology item prices to reflect recent trade values!

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 10:19 AM PDT

I think Archaeology-restored items should have more purposes than just 'archaeology' content.

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 08:29 AM PDT

Let's face it; Archaeology has brought in numerous of symbolic items throughout history of all factions. The entire skill revolves however not only at finding them, but also RESTORING them to a presentable AND operable state.

This latter part, "operable state", worries me greatly that Archaeology fails to present an opportunity, and that is that those items could actually DO something, other than 'wear this to pass through X'.

    There's dozens of items that can be purposed as equipment - which doesn't even need to be high level content - and others that could be used as unlimited-consumables (like the Vecna Skull). Think of stuff like (these are just examples, to get the picture across);
    - Venator's Dagger/crossbow, legionary gladius and squareshield, creating a tier 5 weapon for low level.
    - Zarosian training dummy; a single-use training dummy that stays for a reduced duration, but provides an all-style dummy to pump adrenaline slightly before battle.
    - Order of Dis robes, tier 30 magic equipment that provides a change to not consume a single rune whilst using a spell (for combat, or for skills)
    - Hallowed Lantern, functions as an alternative for a light source between the tiers of a Oil Lamp and Bullseye Lantern.
    - Manacles, a pocket slot item that enhances the duration of snare abilities and spells (non pvp)
    - Everlight Harp/Trumpet/Violin, equipable 'vanity' item that acts as a Saradominist item.
    - Pontifex Ring, a ring that grants stat attributes, and can be combined with a Ring of Shadows to grant Shadow Realm vision.
    - 'Incite Fear' / 'Exsanguinate' / 'Smoke Cloud' / 'Animate Dead' Spell scroll, items that unlock ACTUAL spells in the Ancient Spellbook.
    - Prototype Godbow/-staff/-sword, a core item for constructing a better (tier 80 or 85) variant of currently known God Weapons.
    - Tsutsaroth Piercing, an item that can be interacted with to grant a temporary Super Attack + Super Strength boost, similar to the Vecna's Skill
    - Trutsaroth Urumi, combined with the Abyssal whip it creates the Abyssal Urumi, a tier 85 mainhand whip that degrades.

These are clearly just examples and by no means are anywhere near intended design, but the point stands; Make these items actually usable for other reasons than chronote-dumping or disassembly.

Soil box is dead content after auto screener, alternative use to store artifacts instead?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 04:34 AM PDT

The soil box really has no use once you get the autoscreener.

I think it could be a good option to allow the associate+ upgrade for soil box instead turn it into an artefact storage box, that can store both damaged and fully restored artefacts.

This would help solve the bank space issues that a lot of us are having whilst also reintroducing a use to the box.

Since all holiday events nowadays are just these collection events, does that mean that old event emotes are unobtainable on all new accounts?

    SCAVENGING 4 STUDY

    Hello guys,

I got scavenging 4 perk recently, and I did not see any statistics about it, so i decided to make a small sample (10k kills) so you guys can see how it procs a lot

    Here whats I got:

    -1814 uncommon materials

-20 rares materials (can be lower or higher, will need more data to validate this information, I will do 100k kills and post here)

So I estimate this is 70-80% better then Scav 3

obs. My equipment is lvl 19 yet, so this should be even higher at lvl 20

Zarador should have been the digsite manager at Warforge

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 01:24 AM PDT

It would only make perfect sense, considering he was an engineer and a general in the army of Bandos during the god wars. Why didn't Jagex just use him instead of resurrecting Zanik yet again?
