    Unfair warpriest droprates

    Currently, people who have participated during the world events, and bought the warpriest outfit sets, are more likely to get them as a drop from the gwd1 bosses.

    The issue with this is that those players are able to quickly farm those god components for no cost. Meanwhile anyone who did not buy the warpriest from the events have literally no chance of obtaining that buffed droprate.

    I want to petition to increase the droprate of warpriest pieces to the same buffed droprate for other players once they've atleast obtained them once.

    Warpriest was literally my last item for kree log after 3k+ kills so this would still make it hard for people to get it for the first time, but for heavens sake i want to be able to farm those arma comps just as quickly as someone who played the damn world event 2.

    Opinion: Utility Items Shouldn't Be Locked Behind Time-Limited Events

    Given the disparity that those that were around for the World Events have when farming Armadyl/Zamorak Components via Warpriest vs those who weren't for Ancient Invention, I think it is a good time to bring up a long lingering issue:

    Utility Items/Buffs should not be Permanently Locked Behind Time Limited Events

    ​

    To Clarify this means stuff like things you can display in your POH in Hotspots, Gear with Stats, xp/invention component buffs, unique free teleports always kept on death, weight reduction gear, or BIS items.

    As mentioned, these are the following meeting said criteria that seem unfair that they are locked behind time limited events, with no method to obtain them or the buffs:

    Cheeky Monkey (BIS for Pickpocketing allowing more deflects to avoid stuns)

    Sceptre of Enchantment (Provides XP Buffs via Valentine's Slam)

    Mystical Staff (T75 Non-Degrading Staff provides unlimited Earth, Fire Water runes)

    Armadyl & Zamorak Warpriest (BIS Invention Components, with buffed drop rates from World Events)

    Dragon God Tokens (Pocket Slot, Teleports out of Level 30 Wilderness to useful areas with free reclaim)

    Athlete's Outfit (Weight Reduction)

    Slime Hunter Gear (Provides T75 Hybrid Armour Stats)

    Skillchips, Wintumber Tree (Items that are displayed in POH or go in POH Hotspots)

    However, not all items are bad, the following are examples I think are fair:

    Adrenaline Urn, Portable Herb Burner, Ghost Hunter / Ectoplasmator, Tuska Warpriest, Devotion/Sacrifice & similar Abilities

    The reason these are fair is they are one time drops (you don't need multiple for disassembly) and are available via alternate method, albeit at a nerfed rate versus those who had done the event (I still think you should be able to obtain the buffed rate after getting Ghost Hunter once, for example, and possibly have a method to unlock the cosmetics associated with it).

    I am not saying though that these items/buff should be given away for free, but rather, there should be some in-game avenue to unlock them. For example, perhaps you could get the buffed drop for Warpriest by completing all mysteries or fulling unlocking the relevant Archaeology digsite (which is in line with the ancient invention theme) - e.g. Everlight Mysteries for Saradomin Warpriest. Maybe Mystical staff can be made from components found in Kharid-Et. Maybe you can get Cheeky Monkey with Pilfer Points, or Athelete's Outfit while training agility.

    Additionally, the philosophy towards cosmetic event items in RS3 is in stark contrast to OSRS, which just gives you all previous event items when you do an event. While I think that's too easy, and iconic items like the scythe should not be obtainable, I do think there should be avenues to unlock some prior event items (say 2009+). Examples of these include:

    Partyhat Firemaking

    Big Cats & Corgis

    Dragon Zodiac Costume

    Boogie Bow

    Staff of Pestilence

    ​

    For stuff like Big Cats, they can do another charity event, and perhaps add new skins like a Black Panther or White Tiger

    Holiday items like Partyhat Firemaking or Staff of Pestilence could be brought back via a secondary quest or event during the annual event, perhaps requiring premier club or a certain number of quest points, and you can unlock say, 1-3 past holiday items (1 for F2P, 2 for Members, 3 for Premier) if you complete the miniquest or meet the requirements it that year's event.

    TLDR: Don't Make Buffs and BIS Utility items permanently locked behind time-limited events: make some kind of in-game avenue to reobtain them.

    Hidden 50k Arch Experience book (105 level Req)

    So I've been doing a LOT of looking around Everlight, and testing random things and I found a (fairly obvious in hindsight) 50k experience book about a week ago.

    I kept it secret in the hopes that I could find more hidden things, but have so far failed. Maybe if I post it here more people will look for hidden things. :)

    • Restore a Hallowed Lantern
    • Take it to the tippy top of the lighthouse
    • Use the Lantern on the Lighthouse to make it (Lit)
    • Use the (Lit) Lantern on the Statue of Hebe

    Please note: The book has a level 105 requirement to read, so you CAN boost to 105 to get it, but you CAN'T use it until level 105.

    Its how back in the day you could smith rune platebody at 99 but dragon platebody at 90 something.

    I know it wont really make a difference for 99% of the players but still.

    I wonder if there's more to this? This is obviously related to Zaros mysterious lifting the monolith and the disappearance of Tony. Perhaps there's more that can be solved? A final hidden mystery perhaps?

    Please make pvm hub a ring of death respawn point, most people are just going to tele there right after their death anyways to regear and go through the portals to try again It could even be added to war's shop to add another buyable from boss kills

    Unbanned 30 top 100 Hunter rank bots

    Hello, I spent 4 months to get top 100 Hunter at Jadinkos like 4 years ago. Recently Jagex unbanned ~30 clear Grenwall bots from rank 29-61. Maybe this person appealed all 30 bots, but this seems totally unfair. He even flexes that he got his accounts back if you look at the names... They have enough stats to get past the Underground Pass quest, and then 200m Hunt.

    Is botting/gold farming being tacitly waved off as a minor transgression? These aren't mains. He is taking advantage of an appeal system.

    As the title says. If we don't have to be wearing these items and they can just be in our inventory to cross the barriers in Kharid-et, then I don't see why we can't have these in our tool belt? There have also been times where I go to "Donate all" to the museum donation bin and forget these are in my inventory so I have to back and farm these relics again.
